We firmly believe that we are in a key moment in history, in which the adoption of policies like CSR - corporate social responsibility, the implementation of environmental management systems (defined by the ISO 14001 standard), help create a conscience about the key role of companies and businesses in the protection of the environment, that translates into sustainability not only for the business but also for the life itself. We want to contribute to these initiatives, and ECO is our contribution.

I liked the following article, and I feel we at XSS are trying exactly to make this a reality, we need to consume less and part of that goal can be accomplished by saving more. Hope you find it as revealing as I did.

In the hands of each of us is the ability to improve and take care of this world, and not simply remain in the desire of change. It is not necessary that we unite before putting into practice our plans, since this strategy sometimes leaves the things only on the intention. It is necessary that each one starts as soon as possible, on his/her own initiative and with the confidence that others will follow, to put in practice actions at home, company or business, that help take care the natural and energy resources.

History is full of examples of men and institutions that decided to change the way things were done, in the majority of cases with an altruist vision about what the change would bring to mankind. We want to count with you to achieve our mission, that we believe (although this sentence may not sound humble) can contribute to the long term sustainability of our planet and the species that live in it.
